CLU++ER: Creativity + Collaboration in Fashion Education
This book explores collaborative creativity in fashion, focusing on material transformation and garment construction. It features artworks, feedback from students and teachers, and practical ideas for crafting educational programs. With insights from designers and professionals, it offers valuable resources for educators, young designers. and anyone passionate about creativity and collaboration in fashion.

This book delves into collaborative creativity, exploring the tangible traces left behind in the creative process—such as tools, objects, and marks. It centers on "Creative Languages" in fashion, with a particular focus on material transformation and garment construction as drivers of collaboration and innovation. The research, originated in 2020 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp, in collaboration with ARIA, University of Antwerp, extended over the following years to include partnerships with NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, HEAD–Genève, and various companies and professionals.
In addition to theoretical exploration, the book includes a large collection of artworks produced during workshops and activities at these three schools, along with feedback from students and teachers. It also offers practical manuals and ideas for building educational programs focused on craft and creativity. This publication serves as a valuable resource for anyone passionate about working with crafts and materials, especially educators and young designers looking for inspiration on organizing group projects and creative processes.
