Objective:
The goal of the research was to examine the tension between individual creativity in fashion education and the collaborative nature of the fashion industry. The study aimed to explore how individual and collaborative creativity can interact to improve skill-based training in fashion education.

Approach:
The research focused on Creative Languages—domain-specific skills that oversee the interaction of individuals' personalities and styles in the creative process. By analyzing disciplines such as coupe, drawing, and textile design, the study developed a model that integrates both individual and collaborative creativity. A multi-level theoretical framework incorporating creativity, domain-specific and domain-general creativity, and group creativity was used.

Methodology:
The study followed the principles of action research. Empirical activities were embedded within the educational context, utilizing workshops, documentation of results, participant observation, and the reiteration of activities in different environments to ensure a comprehensive understanding and application of the findings.

Key Results:
The research resulted in the Inter-Relational Model, a framework for skill-based training that fosters both individual and collaborative creativity. This model emphasizes the role of material culture as a medium for effective collaboration. It offers insights into how fashion education can better prepare students for the collaborative nature of the fashion industry.

Impact:
This research bridges the gap between individual creativity and collaborative processes, providing a practical framework for fashion educators to enhance student collaboration. By focusing on material culture and multi-disciplinary skills, it contributes to more innovative and industry-relevant education in fashion design. This model can shape future curricula, fostering stronger creative teams and partnerships within the fashion industry.
